A visit to the Ecomuseum reveals daily life in the Savoyard Alps in the 19th century. It's an opportunity to discover customs and a way of life that will provide valuable lessons for building tomorrow's world.
The Ecomusée is an ideal place to learn and experience, thanks to realistic settings, the presentation of know-how, fun activities and entertainment for young and old, the screening of original short films ("P'tiou Louis, raconte-nous ton histoire" or "La Noël de Célestine"), a panoramic terrace for geological interpretation of the landscape...
The Ecomusée can be visited by the whole family, with special activities for children (at no extra charge): play trails (from age 3), a "Dis, on faisait comment avant?" trail (from age 6), a "Lucas et les couloirs du temps" riddle game for older children, and an outdoor discovery trail to learn about the natural and human environment of Lake Annecy.
Groups are welcome all year round, on reservation, with thematic and educational tours for schoolchildren. A Savoyard snack is also available on reservation at the end of the visit.
Information panels in 6 languages (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch). Short film in French and English.
Thematic and educational tours for school groups.
Tours and theme days for adult groups.
Special welcome for people with disabilities.
Visits in English are possible.
Groups of 20 people or more (minimum charge), all year round by reservation.
