This summer of 2026, Chambéry, Quelle Histoire! is transforming the city into a stage. Three original productions – a historical crime thriller, an immersive comedy and a theatre of memory – bring the history of Chambéry and Savoie to life in the city’s courtyards and alleyways. The actors bring the characters and stories to life, making each performance a vivid encounter with history.

Welcome to the heart of the 28th edition of the ‘Musique et Nature en Bauges’ Festival: concerts are taking place throughout the summer in the churches of Bauges and the neighbouring towns.

A cycling route unlike any other winds its way through Grand Chambéry. The ride is between 15 and 20 km long and suitable for everyone. Along the route, around ten unusual venues come to life: music venues, cultural sites, sports grounds and historic locations.

To mark Museum Night, Chambéry’s museums come to life as night falls.
For one evening only, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Savoisien Museum, Les Charmettes, the Eurêka Gallery and the Natural History Museum will be open for a late-night viewing.

For the third year running, the Féclaz Bike Test is kicking off the cycling season. Bike trials, activities and surprises are the highlights of this weekend dedicated to cycling.
All this takes place in a festive atmosphere, with music, new discoveries and a passion for cycling.

In the heart of the Bauges massif, the Les Petits Baroudeurs festival invites families to experience the mountains in a different way.
Over three days, children and their parents go on one adventure after another: tree climbing, treks with donkeys or huskies, via ferrata or water treks.
Between adventures, there’s time for evening gatherings, adventure stories and toasted marshmallows.

In Chambéry, in the courtyard of the Château des Ducs de Savoie, the Estivales en Savoie festival brings the town to life. A stage, performers, and the ancient stone walls acting as a natural echo chamber. This festival is a burst of energy.

The square comes alive to the rhythm of the earth and the hands that shape it. Now in its 6th year, the Chambéry Potters’ Market brings together around fifty artisans from France and Italy. Pottery, sculptures and one-off pieces come to life under the curious gaze of onlookers.

The men’s Tour de France will set off from Chambéry for a challenging stage through the Bauges and Chartreuse mountain ranges, before finishing in Voiron. An exceptional route, with great enthusiasm expected from the public… and confirmation that Chambéry Montagnes, more than ever, is a true cycling region.
