Getting here and around in Savoie Grand Revard

If you’re coming by car, just follow the signs… or your favourite app.

But if you’re dreaming of a gentler journey – for both you and the planet – you’ve come to the right place. Synchro Montagne buses, smart car-sharing, friendly taxis or car-sharing schemes: there’s a way for everyone to get up to Savoie Grand Revard. And up there? Everything’s been sorted so you can get around easily, breathe in the fresh air… and enjoy yourself without any stress.

Please note: In winter, the D913, which runs through the resort, is closed to traffic. To get to Le Revard from La Féclaz and vice versa, take the D913B (drive past the La Forêt car park).

Transport in Savoie Grand Revard

Travelling by bus is simple, convenient… and offers stunning views!

Are you arriving by train in Chambéry, or would you rather leave the car at home and make the most of the scenery? The bus is your best option for getting to Savoie Grand Revard stress-free and without unnecessary emissions. And that’s good news: in both summer and winter, several routes run from Chambéry or Aix-les-Bains.

In both summer and winter, travel to La Féclaz from Chambéry on the Ligne Montagne No. 40

As for fares, they’re very reasonable: from €1.20 per journey, or via your Synchro Mobilités season ticket (excluding M-Ticket, 24-hour ‘Tribu’ tickets and group tickets).

As for tickets, groups of more than 20 people aren’t allowed, and bookings are compulsory for groups of between 10 and 20. For everyone else… you can book your seat online or buy a single ticket.

Practical information: small dogs are allowed on board provided they travel in a carrier. And if you’re travelling with a bike (road bike or mountain bike), you can even transport your bike for free, subject to booking (up to 6 bikes per coach).

Or from Aix-les-Bains via the S11 line

From Aix-les-Bains, the S11 line (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region) allows you to travel to Le Revard and La Féclaz during the summer and winter seasons.

🫶 Top tip:

You can enjoy great value by combining a return journey on the Ligne Montagne 40 or the coaches from Aix-les-Bains (line S11) with a day pass for downhill skiing at La Féclaz or a day pass for cross-country skiing at Savoie Grand Revard.

Fewer cars, more skiing: it’s a win-win!

You might also want to consider the ‘Flexi’ on-demand transport service outside the peak summer and winter tourist seasons.
