If you’d like to have all the information to hand, a map of the mountain bike routes (downhill and trail riding) is available from our tourist information offices for just €1.50

No bike? Don’t panic!

You’re keen to give it a go… all you need now is a bike?

In La Féclaz, our bike hire companies are on hand to kit you out, offer advice and get you on your bike in the best possible conditions. Downhill mountain bikes, protective gear, helmets, children’s equipment: everything’s ready so you can enjoy yourself to the full and in complete safety.

Mountain Bike School

Fancy improving your skills or giving it a go?

With guidance from qualified and passionate instructors, you’ll learn at your own pace, in complete safety. Your first turns on the slopes, skiing techniques, jumps or family sessions: anything is possible, whatever your age or ability.

And a smile is always part of the experience!

The Stage Riders course was brilliant for my teenager. The half-day sessions on offer are varied and help develop skills on a mountain bike. Safety is the top priority, given all the equipment provided, which is suitable for the children. It was absolute fun! Thanks for everything, Bastien and Rémi.

Green News

Nature welcomes you… please respect it in return.

Here, you’re cycling through living, sensitive environments. Forests, meadows, mountain pastures: these areas are often privately owned or used for farming, and are carefully maintained by farmers, foresters or shepherds. To preserve this harmony:

  • Stay on the marked trails, so as not to disturb wildlife or damage the ground.
  • Close the gates behind you.
  • Admire the flowers, fruit and mushrooms… but do not pick them.
  • Do not disturb wild animals; they will hear you long before you see them.
  • Zero waste, zero trace: take everything you brought with you back home.
  • And if possible… ride gently, letting the silence speak for itself.

Thank you for making your outing an adventure that is as respectful as it is unforgettable.

Safety first!

The Bike Park is all about having a blast… but always stay safe.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory, and to ensure you can ride with peace of mind, we strongly recommend wearing a back protector, gloves, elbow pads and knee pads.

This activity requires a good level of mountain biking skill. If you’re a beginner or riding with young children, stick to trails suited to your ability or opt for a supervised ride with a mountain biking school.

Before every ride: check your kit, choose a trail that’s within your capabilities, and above all, listen to your body. The mountains will still be there tomorrow.
