The Nivolet Cross

The perfect way to enjoy spectacular views in an accessible and enjoyable format! From Le Sire, you climb just 300 metres through mountain pastures and forests before reaching the emblematic cross, standing proudly at 1547 m altitude. From here, the 360° view takes in the Lac du Bourget, the Chambéry valley, the Bauges, the Chartreuse and even Mont-Blanc on a clear day. Make sure you take a picnic break and open your eyes wide: it’s a magical moment!

Mount Margériaz

A hike that makes you sweat… and smile! Want to test your calves? Then this is the hike for you! From Plainpalais, you can climb, breathe, admire… and climb some more. The passage over the Col de la Verne is a great warm-up before the final assault on the Margériaz. Up there, forget the sweat: it’s time for the big show!
