This unspoilt setting, within the Regional Nature Park, offers ideal conditions for observing the constellations with the naked eye, tracking the passage of a satellite, or scrutinising the details of a lunar crater through a telescope.

Thanks to the “Starry Sky” programme run by the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park andthe voluntary switching off of street lighting in several towns, the night has regained all its magic.

The result? A sky of exceptional clarity, perfect for observing the Milky Way, meteor showers and other celestial phenomena throughout the year.
