Marked routes to suit all tastes

The Aillons-Margériaz resort offers you a real trail experience with routes that comply with the AFNOR charter. Signposted and safe, they invite you to explore all aspects of trail running.

For a gentle start: green and blue routes (4 to 8 km) with low gradients for a low-pressure introduction to the sport.
To progress: longer loops with moderate gradients, perfect for building confidence.
To challenge yourself: red routes of up to 26km and 1500m of ascent, designed for seasoned trail runners.

And because trail running is also about sharing, there’s a fun trail for children. Enough to turn your outing into an unforgettable family adventure.

Meeting with the patous

Protection dogs look after the herds. Here’s how to react:

Stay calm, walk without running.
Do not pet the dog, go around the herd.
When in a group, stay close together.
Hold your sticks, rucksack or jacket in front of you to create a barrier.

Hunting days

You have to share the mountains, including with hunters. Before you leave, check the opening dates.
