Snowshoeing Pave your way gently

Want to get moving without feeling rushed? Take a walk or snowshoe along the signposted trails from the centre of La Féclaz. A 9km loop trail takes you to the summit of Orionde. Up there, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panorama: Mont-Blanc, Belledonne, Chartreuse… A great reward for a gradual and accessible climb.

For lunch, pack a picnic (especially if you’ve packed some Tome des Bauges!), or simply follow the delicious smells of the Chalet du Sire, a temple of Savoyard cuisine on the mountainside.

A word of advice: respect the signs, follow the footpaths and leave the slopes to the skiers. Each to his own space, each to his own pleasure.

Good news for contemplative walkers: the Orionde chairlift is now open to pedestrians. It’s a great opportunity to climb without breaking a sweat, while enjoying an exceptional view of the surrounding peaks.
