Do you like walking in the fresh air? Follow the bucolic trails of the Cœur des Bauges. These walks are accessible to all the family, even the very young. And to add a touch of magic, why not walk with a donkey? A real treat.

Our mountain guides will also guide you on exciting themed outings: discovering plants, animals, landscapes… They’ll reveal the secrets of an area that’s as rich as it is welcoming.

For more adventurous families, itinerant tours are available over several days, with unusual overnight stays in a yurt or refuge. A true immersion in the rhythm of the mountains!

When the sun is at its zenith, it’s time to cool off: head for the Les Îles du Chéran leisure centre in Lescheraines. There’s a waterslide, paddling pool, water games, wakeboarding, watergames… and, of course, swimming in clear, invigorating water. There’ll be plenty of laughs to be had.

Finally, for those with a sweet tooth, indulge in an artisanal ice cream or a delicious local chocolate. In Bellecombe, the Chocolaterie des Bauges will delight you, as will Gaël Jacob and his famous “Vesp’à glace”, which criss-crosses the villages throughout the summer. An icy delight to enjoy with the whole family.

The Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park has been awarded the UNESCO Global Geopark label. It protects 700 km² of unique landscapes and 54 geosites to explore. A treasure to be preserved… and shared.

Head for the Tanne du Névé cave at Aillons-Margériaz 1400, one of the most impressive in Savoie. Thrills guaranteed!

Cani-rando

At Aillon-le-Jeune, the sled dog farm offers you the chance to walk accompanied by a faithful companion. And for the more adventurous, climb aboard a real sleigh, just like in the Far North!

Municipal swimming pool

After the effort, the comfort: head to the municipal swimming pool for a well-deserved moment of relaxation. Slide, picnic, lounging… and memories galore.

A breath of fresh air at Savoie Grand Revard

At Savoie Grand Revard, you can breathe a little easier and enjoy a wider horizon. This high plateau is an endless playground for families.

Adventure park

The La Féclaz adventure park, perched at an altitude of 1500 m, offers 13 courses and 135 workshops. The net park is accessible from the age of 2, without a harness: slides, zip lines, footbridges, giant trampolines… Laughter resounds in the forest.

Equestrian centre

Looking for nature? Go hiking on your own or accompanied, on foot, on horseback or even with a donkey. And why not take a pony ride? The Volte Face riding centre offers lessons and rides all year round.

Cani-rando

Dogs are also part of the fun here! The Mikia school invites you to discover canine trekking or sulky, a gentle activity pulled by a dog. The kennel is open to the public from May to October.

MOUNTAIN BIKE

Cycling enthusiasts of all ages will also be delighted. Savoie Sports Aventure offers a bike garden for 3-7 year olds. Further afield, mountain bike trails take you through breathtaking scenery.

Chairlift

And if you want to get close to the heavens? Take the Orionde chairlift up to the lookout point of the same name. You’re guaranteed a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc, Lac du Bourget and the whole of the Bauges massif.

At Mont Revard, try the footbridges suspended above the void. One of them is entirely glazed… you’ll be thrilled and amazed!

Explore Chambéry with your family

Chambéry is more than just a city. It’s an open-air adventure, a history to explore, a heritage to experience.

The old town awaits you, with its colourful facades, secret passageways (the allées), fountains… and hidden treasures. Keep your eyes peeled for one of the most beautiful historic towns in the Alps.

Not to be missed: the Elephant Fountain*, the town’s emblem, tells the story of the great adventures of General de Boigne. Guided tours of the Château des Ducs de Savoie are also available.

For those with a curious mind, several museums offer child-friendly tours: Musée Savoisien, Musée des Beaux-Arts, Les Charmettes (Rousseau’s house)… Learning has never been so much fun.

Need to get moving? Head for the aqualudic swimming pool with its pools, water games and wellness area. And if your teenagers want to let off some steam, head for the Wattabloc or Climb’up climbing gyms, or the Windalps free-fall simulator, accessible from the age of 5!
