Labels and certifications Our commitment to making you feel welcome

Our tourist office places the quality of its welcome, accessibility, respect for the environment and promotion of the region at the heart of its priorities. These commitments are reflected in the fact that we have been awarded several recognised labels and certifications:

  • The Accueil Vélo label
  • The Vignobles & Découvertes label
  • Tourisme & Handicap label

  • Clear, free and up-to-date information on all the local tourist attractions.
  • A reception desk that’s there to listen to you, making it easy for you to get the information you need.
  • Open at least 120 days a year, including weekends during tourist or event periods.
  • Opening times displayed in at least one foreign language.

Our quality approach

Because Chambéry Montagnes is a rich and varied destination where we are committed to always giving you a better welcome, the Tourist Office has chosen to commit to a quality approach, rewarded by the renewal of the Marque Qualité Tourisme™.

From Marque Qualité Tourisme to Destination d’Excellence

The Marque Qualité Tourisme™ was created by the State with the aim of “always better receiving customers and improving the quality of tourist services” offered throughout the country. Since May 2024, it has been replaced by the Destination d’Excellence label with the aim of a single label for the entire tourism offering. It will raise the bar in terms of eco-responsibility and information for the disabled. The Marque Qualité Tourisme will remain valid until the end of 2026, and an audit is planned in order to switch to the Destination d’Excellence label.

At its level, Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme wanted to commit to the approach with several ambitions.

A continuous improvement approach, because we want all the working practices put in place with the aim of obtaining the “Marque” to lead us to a process of continuous improvement. To achieve this, we focus on the satisfaction of our individual and group customers.

Meeting the expectations of our visitors is at the heart of our concerns.

The pleasure of a warm welcome at our Tourist Office information desks (in Chambéry Place du Palais de Justice, Les Aillons-Margériaz, Le Châtelard, La Féclaz or Le Revard and in our La Ruche Boutik’ shop in Chambéry), with expert, personalised advice from our holiday advisors.

The desire to be a key contact for local tourism professionals, who need to be able to draw on our expertise. The commercial activities developed within the structure (groups, central booking office, school outings, business tourism) should generate new outlets for local players.

The desire to raise the profile ofChambéry Montagnesas a destination through appropriate marketing initiatives. The Greater Chambéry conurbation has set itself an ambitious tourism development strategy for the period 2024-2030 [find out more]. Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme is one of the guarantors of the implementation of this strategy.
