This network of cycle paths, developed by Grand Chambéry, makes it easier
cycling throughout the conurbation. The routes are
signposted, safe and accessible to all, and pass through a variety of landscapes
between town and country.

The Pistes Bleues signage is simple and clear.
Each route is marked with directional signs and ground markings indicating the number of the trail.

Must-do routes: from the Belle Via to the Tour des Bauges

Among the must-do itineraries, the Belle Via unfurls its tranquil route between lakes, vineyards and mountains, perfect for a family outing or a gentle touring stage. The Tour des Bauges by bike (130km) will appeal to long-distance enthusiasts, with a route that takes in the Bourget and Annecy lakes, Alpine panoramas and typical villages.

There are also a number of local loops offering a variety of pleasures:

  • Aix-les-Bains: 40km round trip, ideal for cycling along the peaceful shores of the lake.
  • Lac de Saint-André: 25 km through vineyards and orchards, with views of the Chartreuse.
  • Boucle du Tremblay or Balcons du Bourget: combining nature and views.
