Since 2005, La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin has established itself as one of Europe’s most spectacular sled dog races. Every winter, in the grandiose setting of the Alps, more than 65 mushers and almost 600 elite dogs embark on a 400 km odyssey, punctuated by 12,000 metres of ascent.
Vibrant and unifying, this legendary race attracts more than 60,000 spectators every year, spread across some twenty resorts and villages in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, transformed for the occasion into festive and emotional hot spots.
