When does the ski season start?

Cross-country skiing – As soon as the first snowfall is suitable for grooming. Alpine skiing – The start of the Christmas holidays.

Can we hire equipment on site?

Yes, you can find equipment hire shops in the various villages within the Savoie Grand Revard ski resort: La Féclaz, Le Revard and Saint François de Sales.

Are Nordic sports suitable for families?

Here, the mountains are a place for the whole family to enjoy. From beginner’s ski slopes and toboggan runs to easy walks or snowshoe hikes, and even dog-sled or horse-drawn sleigh rides, there’s something for everyone. Not to mention the Village Tipi activity park, where young and old alike can share some truly enjoyable moments in the snow!

How can I get there without a car?

Shuttles and ski buses run to the ski areas from Chambéry and Aix-les-Bains.
