From 16 to 19 October 2025, experience the must-see wine tourism event in the vineyards of Cœur de Savoie and around Chambéry, a destination with the Vignobles & Découvertes label.
On the programme: cellar visits, meetings with winegrowers, guided tastings, food and wine pairings, concerts in the vineyards… In short, a great way to celebrate Savoie wines, whose grape varieties (Mondeuse, Jacquère, Altesse…) are sure to surprise you.
Strolling along the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Promenade is like taking a journey through time… and thought. Between shady parks, belvederes overlooking the Chambéry valley, and paths with evocative names like Le Rendez-vous or Parc de l’Étincelle, you’ll follow a gentle itinerary all the way to the house at Les Charmettes, refuge of the famous philosopher.
Duration: 2h30 of contemplative walking, to be done alone to dream, as a duo to discuss, or as a family to awaken the spirits.
The Col de Chérel hike from Jarsy is a real autumn favourite. It takes around 3 and a half hours to walk through warmly coloured scenery, between silent mountain pastures and wooded slopes bathed in gold.
The pass lies between the Trélod and Arcalod peaks, two giants of the Bauges, protecting you in a natural setting. And with the Mhikes app, you donʼt need a compass: the route follows you step by step.
Fancy a leisurely pedal with your hair blowing in the wind and leaves under your wheels? Take the back roads south of Chambéry to reach Lac Saint- André, nestling at the foot of Mont Granier. Autumn here offers golden reflections on the surface of the water and a peaceful, almost meditative atmosphere.
