The Chéran Islands

Lescheraines

Nestled between lakes and woodland, the Îles du Chéran leisure centre offers a wide range of outdoor activities. The site features a designated beach with supervised swimming, a water slide, a fun paddling pool, as well asfacilities for sport and leisure: tennis courts, a pétanque area, a multi-sports pitch, walking trails, inflatable water games, wakeboarding and even accro-bungy. Fishing is also permitted. The site is ideal for both day trips and longer stays, thanks to the on-site Île du Chéran campsite and the L’Eau Vive holiday residence.

Wam Park

Montailleur

Wam Park is a water sports centre open to everyone aged 5 and over. The site features two water ski lifts (small and large) for water skiing and wakeboarding. There are also inflatable water games, water jumps, an aquatic climbing wall, a treetop adventure course, floating islands and paddleboard hire. Picnic areas, a catering area and a footpath allow visitors to enjoy the surroundings on foot or by bike. The whole site is set around a calm, supervised lake, ideal for both relaxation and sporting activities.

Rivier’Alp

Situated on the border between Savoie and Isère, Rivier’Alp is a leisure centre focused on exploration and the great outdoors. It offers supervised eco-friendly swimming in summer, play areas set in the heart of nature, a relaxation area, as well as walking trails and a cycle path. The site showcases the surrounding landscapes and natural environments: the Mare du Cotterg, a viewing point overlooking the swimming area, observation platforms overlooking the Guiers, and the Guiers Vif canals. Suitable for all ages, the centre provides an ideal setting for relaxation, walking and exploring the local area.

Carouge Leisure Centre

Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny

Situated at the foot of the Belledonne Massif, the Carouge Leisure Centre covers an area of nearly 10 hectares. It offers a supervised swimming area in summer (from 1 pm to 7 pm), a beach that has held Blue Flag status since 2018, children’s play areas, and walking paths around the lake. Paddleboard hire is available in season. The site welcomes both early-morning sports enthusiasts and those looking to relax in the afternoon. Easily accessible from Chambéry by regional train, with over 30 daily services, the centre is an ideal starting point for enjoying nature activities and hikes in the surrounding area.
