Business tourism 4-season tourism to match your ambitions

Choosing Chambéry Montagnes to organise your conferences, symposia, conventions, seminars, trade fairs, gala evenings and more means enjoying the many benefits our destination has to offer.

An ideal location between lakes, vineyards and mountains

With three lakes nearby – including France’s largest natural lake – gently rolling mountains that beckon with the promise of adventure, and vineyards producing the characteristic wines of Savoie, Chambéry Montagnes offers you the ideal playground. Culture, nature, heritage, gastronomy, sporting challenges…

Put together a varied programme, whatever the season, to suit your tastes. On land, underground, on the water, in the air… the possibilities are endless

Privileged access in the heart of the Alps

Chambéry Montagnes enjoys a prime location, at the heart of Alpine transport links that make the destination easily accessible:

less than 3 hours from Paris with 5 to 8 direct daily TGV connections and a TGV station in the city centre

1 hour from Lyon and Geneva by motorway,

less than 45 minutes from 2 international airports (Lyon Saint-Exupéry and Geneva Cointrin).

A varied and complementary offering

> A fully renovated and fully functional events complex that brings together, on a single site, two versatile and complementary venues: an exhibition centre and a multi-purpose hall – Le Phare.

> A conference centre (Le Manège) ideally situated in the city centre. This former cavalry riding school, dating from the Sardian era, offers practical and welcoming spaces for events for between 100 and 400 people.

> A range of accommodation with 1,400 rooms to suit all tastes and budgets: a chalet-style room in the city centre, a room in a 15th-century castle or a stately home overlooking the city, or even a loft suite in the heart of the old town.

> Seminar venues with a variety of atmospheres: in Chambéry city centre, at an airport, in the heart of the Savoie vineyards, in the mountains, on the shores of Lake Aiguebelette…

> A wide range of venues for exceptional evening events

> Passionate professionals, working alongside us to guarantee you a high-quality, bespoke service and who, like us, are committed to the values of hospitality, friendliness and authenticity that characterise our region and its partners.

Congresses, conventions and trade fairs Modular facilities for all your events

For your conferences, symposia, conventions or trade fairs, Chambéry Montagnes offers three main venues:

    • In the heart of the city, the Conference Centre (Le Manège) with its 400-seat auditorium, ideal for events on a human scale.
    • Just a stone’s throw from the motorway links, the Exhibition Centre: 13,000 m² of halls connected by walkways, with 2,000 free parking spaces.
    • Right next door, Le Phare, a versatile venue designed for large-scale events: its main hall can accommodate up to 3,500 people.

The benefits of a well-preserved historical and natural heritage

Chambéry Montagnes is a unique tourist destination which offers, all within the same area:

> A ‘City of Art and History’, whose numerous narrow streets, colourful medieval façades and unmissable monuments – such as the Castle of the Dukes of Savoy – bear witness to over 1,000 years of history linking Savoy and Piedmont.

> A regional nature park designated a UNESCO Geopark thanks to its remarkable geological heritage, whose superb landscapes offer a wonderful range of activities in an exceptional setting… the Bauges Massif.
