THE SKI AREA
In Margériaz (Aillons-Margériaz 1400), the snow always falls at just the right time! Thanks to the microclimate. Here, there are 25 km of slopes where you can ease into it or really let rip on a snowboard. A resort on a human scale, ideal for learning or improving your skills with family or friends. It feels great here, and you’ll glide even better. And between turns? You’ll savour the moment, have a laugh… and be left wanting more!

With “First on the slopes”, follow the ski patrollers at the crack of dawn! A behind-the-scenes look at the job, a ride up on the chairlift, a quick coffee… and your first turns all to yourself.

Sheltered by a cirque-shaped landscape and benefiting from a north-facing aspect, the Margériaz ski area (Aillons-Margériaz 1400) preserves its snow like a treasure. Thanks to the care taken by the snow groomers and the vigilance of the piste patrol, the runs remain beautiful and well-groomed, even when other resorts are starting to run out of snow.
When we show people the photos, we’re often asked:“Is that really where you live?” Yes, it really is. And the snow is still there when you can no longer ski elsewhere at the same altitude.
We had a brilliant day yesterday skiing at Margériaz. Thank you to the teams on site for all their hard work, which means we can enjoy a lovely snow-covered area so close to home! Don’t change a thing – or better still, make it even better!
PLAY AREAS
Two magic carpets on green runs – perfect for a gentle start! Ideal for getting to grips with skiing, building confidence and making your first runs without any stress… or unexpected bumps.
There are two terraces waiting for you at the top of the estate! One has cosy wooden benches. The other is equipped with picnic tables and self-service grills. Both offer breathtaking views!
