Ski touring freedom, mountain-style

There are those who love to hurtle down the slopes. And then there are those who like to take their time. Climbing under their own steam, moving silently through a snow-covered forest, treating themselves to a summit with breathtaking views, savouring the descent as a well-deserved reward…

One climb, a thousand emotions

Welcome to the world of ski touring in Aillons-Margériaz. A sport that is at once physically demanding, contemplative and deeply liberating, set in the heart of the Massif des Bauges Regional Nature Park.

Here, you experience the mountains in a different way

Instead of following the crowds, you forge your own path. You leave the ski lifts behind to join the signposted trails that wind their way through forests and along panoramic ridges.

At Aillons-Margériaz, two safe trails await you:

  • La Marge, perfect for beginners,
  • Les Crêtes, to reach the summit of Margériaz and take in the views of the mountain range.

These routes are designed to combine a sense of escape, progression and safety, with clear signposting and educational panels along the way.

Tools to help you hike with confidence

Whether you’re simply curious, a beginner or already a keen enthusiast, everything has been designed to support you:

  • Qualified instructors to helpyou discover the sport in complete safety.
  • The Mhikes app, a pocket GPS to ensure you never lose your way.
  • And, of course, a region committed to respecting nature and ensuring the safety of participants.
