From the ‘Qualité Tourisme’ label to ‘Destination d’Excellence’
The Tourism Quality Mark™ was created by the government with the aim of ‘continuously improving the welcome given to visitors and enhancing the quality of tourism services’ offered across the country. Since May 2024, it has been replaced by the ‘Destination of Excellence’ label, reflecting the aim of having a single label for the entire range of tourism offerings. This will raise standards in terms of environmental responsibility and information provision for people with disabilities. The ‘Qualité Tourisme’ label remains valid until the end of 2026, and an audit is planned to facilitate the transition to the ‘Destination d’Excellence’ label.
For its part, Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme has chosen to commit to this initiative with several objectives in mind.
This is a process of continuous improvement, as we want all the working practices put in place to achieve the ‘Quality Tourism’ label to lead us towards a process of ongoing improvement. To this end, we ensure the satisfaction of both our individual and group customers.
Meeting our visitors’expectations ever more effectively is at the heart of our concerns.
