From 16 to 19 October 2025, experience the unmissable wine tourism event in the vineyards of Cœur de Savoie and around Chambéry, a destination with the ‘Vignobles & Découvertes’ label.
On the programme: cellar tours, meetings with winemakers, guided tastings, food and wine pairings, concerts amongst the vines… In short, a wonderful way to celebrate Savoyard wines, whose grape varieties (Mondeuse, Jacquère, Altesse…) will never cease to surprise you.
A stroll along the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Promenade is like taking a journey through time… and through the mind. Amidst shady parks, viewpoints overlooking the Chambéry valley, and paths with evocative names such as Le Rendez-vous or Parc de l’Étincelle, you’ll follow a gentle route to the Maison des Charmettes, the famous philosopher’s retreat.
Duration: a 2½-hour contemplative walk, perfect on your own to daydream, as a couple to chat, or with the family to stimulate the mind.

The hike from Jarsyto the Col de Chérel is a real autumn favourite. It takes around 3½ hours to immerse yourself in a landscape of warm colours, amongst silent mountain pastures and wooded slopes bathed in golden light.
The pass lies between the peaks of Trélod and Arcalod, two giants of the Bauges mountains that shelter you in a natural setting. And with the Mhikes app, there’s no need for a compass: the route guides you step by step.
Fancy a leisurely cycle, with the wind in your hair and leaves rustling beneath your wheels? Take the back roads south of Chambéry to reach Lake Saint-André, nestled at the foot of Mont Granier. In autumn, the water’s surface glistens with golden hues and the atmosphere is peaceful, almost meditative.
