Splash & splash refreshing swims

Tucked away between mountains and greenery, the Îles du Chéran leisure park in Lescheraines is sure to provide some lovely family moments. With a supervised beach, water games, slides, paddleboarding, wakeboarding and even inflatable floats, there’s plenty to keep young and old alike happy! Add a picnic in the shade of the trees or a barbecue, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect afternoon.

Canyoning & Aquarando fresh emotions guaranteed

Jumps, natural slides, abseiling down waterfalls… Canyoning in the Massif des Bauges is pure adrenaline. Supervised by professionals, you’ll make your way through scenery sculpted by water, between rocks and torrents. Thrills and laughter guaranteed!

For a gentler experience, but just as immersive, try aquarando. Suitable for children aged 8 and over, this fun aquatic trek immerses you in a refreshing world, to be enjoyed as a group. The white water becomes your playground.

Book your guided outing for a blend of nature, fun and safety.

Climbing & Via Ferrata get some height

In Aillons-Margériaz, you can explore the crags at your own pace, in a safe, supervised environment. Thanks to the local guides, who are passionate about their work and teaching, you can learn to climb or improve your skills with complete peace of mind.

We’ve fallen in love with the Nant de Rossane via ferrata ‘school’!

Situated at an altitude of 1,000 metres, on the right-hand side of the Col du Martinet, it offers a progressive route perfectly suited to beginners. With sections of increasing difficulty and a panoramic view over the resort, it’s ideal for a first taste of rock climbing… or for (re)gaining confidence.

Discovering the other side of the mountain Caving

Focus on
Caving at Tanne du Névé

Fancy a spot of exploring? The Tanne du Névé caving expedition takes you through a mysterious landscape shaped by water and time. Ideal for a first underground experience, it combines walking with underground exploration.

After a 30-minute walk to the remote location, it’s time for 1½ to 2 hours of exploration. With your helmet and headlamp on, take it one step at a time, observe the stalactites and stalagmites, and feel the dampness and silence of the rock. It’s a sensory experience that combines curiosity and wonder.

Two options: on your own, fully equipped, or accompanied by a qualified guide for a peaceful experience. Practical information: the cave is open from spring to autumn, with a constant temperature of 10°C.

What you’ll need
Helmet – head torch + batteries – warm clothing – sturdy shoes – thin gloves.
👉 Hire your equipment before your trip.

The multi-sports area the chill & sport spot

Fancy getting active without having to go hiking? The Aillons-Margériaz multi-sports area is waiting for you: table tennis, pétanque, football, basketball, volleyball, fitness… there’s something for every taste and every ability. A friendly atmosphere guaranteed!

The added bonus? Picnic tables, drinking fountains, recycling bins, nearby parking… Everything you need to have a great time with family or friends, without any hassle.

An absolute must between hikes!

Fishing in the Bauges nature and patience

65 km of crystal-clear rivers, 3 lakes nestled in an idyllic setting… The Massif des Bauges is an angler’s paradise. Brown trout, no-kill stretches, ‘catch and release’ zones: there’s plenty to keep anglers happy.

Whether you prefer a wild river or a peaceful stretch of water, you’ll need a fishing licence (info at cheranterredepeche.com). And above all, take your time: here, silence is golden, and nature knows how to be generous.

Get your rods ready… ready? Let’s go fishing!

Pump track Full steam ahead!

A track full of bumps and sharp bends that you can ride without pedalling?

Welcome to the pump track at Aillons-Margériaz!

The idea is to ‘pump’ with your arms and legs to maintain your speed… and complete lap after lap like a true ‘Baujus rider’.

Free of charge and open to riders aged 8 and over, this incredibly fun spot will appeal to beginners and thrill-seekers alike.

Helmets are compulsory, knee pads are recommended: here, we ride, but we remain cautious.
