Depuis Chambéry Centre, suivre le quai charles Ravet, le quai de la Rise pour entrer sur les aménagements de la voie verte de le Leysse : suivez les indications du réseau de l'agglomération chambérienne (synchrovélo). Une fois la voie verte de la Leysse terminer, prenez à droite sur la Voie verte des planeurs, continuez et vous arriverez sur une grande avenue, une fois sur cette avenue : prenez encore à droite direction Challes les eaux centre, le plan d'eau se trouvera sur votre gauche.
