Aillons-Margériaz resort provides trail running experiences for you to enjoy and share with your loved ones in the heart of the Bauges UNESCO Geopark.
Runners can hitch a ride up to the top on the chair lift then soak up the incredible unspoilt setting before unearthing the Geopark’s natural and historical gems.
Aillons-Margériaz 1000 is the perfect basecamp for trail runners. The rolling hills and unique views on these new trails are a joy for novice and expert runners. Expériences Trail is all about recharging your batteries and taking time out from the daily grind, not beating the clock. It’s a way to realise your potential and spend quality time with family or friends.
Expériences Trail provides routes for all abilities including children.
Red routes are for hardened trail runners to train and get ready for endurance treks. Novices can explore the Geopark’s unique features with expert advice about trail running along the green and blue low-elevation trails. There’s even a unique and fun route for children so families can try it together.
Just lace up and run for freedom as the UNESCO Geopark Bauges Mountains unfurls its breathtaking landscapes and views with every stride you take.
The routes adhere to the AFNOR charter so anyone can have a go at trail running from beginner (green, 4km, 50 elevation) to expert ability (red, 26km, 1500 elevation).
Signs along the way with standard quality markings make your journey a breeze with useful, historical and sporty information. Accurate GPS route guidance on the Mhikes app is available in addition to the route markings.
Expériences Trail includes guided trips, courses, special ski lift access, a top event (Grand Raid 73) and spa access.
