Adaptive tourism for people with disabilities

Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme takes everyone into account and provides adaptive facilities and services:

Adaptive services throughout Chambéry Montagnes.

Our guides wear inclusive masks for guided tours on request.

An approved disabled-friendly visitor centre (Tourisme et handicap).

Natural sites

Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme conducts awareness campaigns for natural sites:

Raising visitors’ awareness of the fragility of natural areas.

Promoting the Respecter c’est protéger (To respect is to protect) website (in French).

Involvement in drawing up a master plan for tourism-related natural areas for Grand Chambéry.

In-house actions

Grand Chambéry Alpes Tourisme is pursuing a proactive policy of eco-gestures and rationalisation of printing:

Raising team awareness of eco-gestures, waste sorting and the use of green transport for business travel.

Switch to a purely digital format for certain editions.

Annual adjustment of the number of copies printed.

Working with a printer awarded the Imprim’Vert label or an equivalent accreditation, which guarantees the reduction of the environmental impact of printing activities.
